Car key type: a Espace 4 ph2 with keycard 3 buttons with keyless PCF7936.
Purpose: to program a used key card (Same Buttons and chip). I am trying to learn an used oem key to the car.
Attached the picture. The left one is mine and the right from the other car.
I meant I have the Pin. But only for my car. Not from the other key.
What to do next?
Replace PCF or unlock old PCF, then precode for your car and finally learn to car.
With keydiy KD-X2 or Xhorse mini key tool you can unlock the PCF (the installed transponder) –> Virginize it.
Then you need to create a so called dealer key out of it and learn to your vehicle with renolink. Do you already have the login pin?
When the key is already adapted to another vehicle, you cannot add it to yours. You have to unlock it first. Google “unlock id46 chip Renault”.
Both are very cheap (about 150€) and or only for generating and renewing keys. I own both of them.
I would suggest you to buy the keydiy KD-X2 It has everything on board (renewing cables) and can also clone many transponders 4D/46/48
Both are token free as long as you don’t want to online calculate id48 keys (VAG vehicles).

Which programmer to buy to learn Espace 4 keys to cars?
VVDI2 is only for bmw, vag, Porsche and Peugeot.
If you want to buy from xhorse, buy the the big tablet from them. VVDI Key Tool Plus.
For resetting the transponder you have to solder wires to the pcb. It doesn’t work by remote.
7936 is only the basic ID46 transponder without any remote information. PCF794x only means that remote information of the central locking system is also stored in the transponder chip alongside with the anti-theft system. These transponders never belong to a single vehicle model or even brand. When you look for pcf7947 in aliexpress you will finde hundreds of vehicles using that specific id46 transponder type.
So you received a lot of information and device suggestions. Now you have to get your stuff sorted and decide how you want to proceed with your key adding challenge. Any locksmith with proper tools would do job for under 90€ within 20 min.

Recommend good tools for trucks Immo / All keys lost, particularly Euro trucks – Benz, Scania, Volvo.
There is no universal tool that will do all. I do repairs on all european truck excluding Iveco, and I can share some experience if it comes to immo.
MAN – Any tool to read/write by E-GPT protocols or by BDM (EDC7) or Boot (EDC17 Euro 6) will be okay for engine ECU, and You would need EEPROM programmer and Macaca for FFR/PTM (FFR only EEPROM). With such tool You will be able to disable the immo (but I’m not sure if there is any Immo off option for EDC17 currently). Or You can get MANCATS II and III with developer software and You will be able to programm keys in truck to about 2016 year production. Newer are blocked and harder to bypass.
Volvo/Renault – Get Vocom with PTT, You can easily disable Immo in V2 trucks, change two parameters and You have no Immo and no error on dash. Fast and easy. For V4 trucks, never had to learn yet, as there was no client that needed new keys, so can’t tell much. But PTT will let You disable the Steering Lock that tend to fail on those trucks very often.
DAF – Euro 5 DMCI, Get Davie XDCII with DAF MUX-560, You can program keys, change ECUS, change Immo boxes no problem. For Euro 6, Davie will be ok up to 2016. Newer only Davie 4, but if You’re not authorized DAF Dealer, no Immobilizer programming. It’s totally blocked.
Scania – Get VCI3, install SDP3 and XCOM. Learn how to modify SOPS files and erase Immo with XCOM, and You’re good to go with S6 and S7 Ecus. With S8/EMD1 it’s more complicated but doable. With SDP3 You can teach new keys, delete old ones and with few tweaks to SOPS files, You can also disable the Immo. Still, EMS and COO need to be paired, but it’s easy procedure with SDP3.
So… A lot of money to invest if You want to do every brand. If You want to start cheap – go for Scania. VCI3 is quite cheap, all the necessary software You can find on forum (or bought reliable source sdp3 software). MAN and DAF have the most expensive interfaces right now. There is no do-it-all software, like the ones for cars, that will let You program everything unfortunately.
1) I use vvdi2 for BMW and used to remove eeprom off the board to read, until i had an accident with one!
Have since been reading in circuit using vvdi prog and dropping Vcc down to 3.3v for reading.
So far so good…
2) I have VVDI2 and use this for BMW FEM keys. I was desoldering 95128 chip from FEM and had an accident with one. Managed to get it sorted in the end when someone with Autohex unlocked a used FEM (without key) for me.
I still used my VVDI2 but read the 95128 in circuit using VVDI Prog (dropped the Vcc down to 3.3v) and even Carprog original (again read at 3.3v), read multiple times, verify and compare files. Everything went fine.
It was so much easier and quicker.
3) I have VVDI2 but I used it only once on Mini to read ECU EDC1722 ISN by OBD because autohex fail to read it.

3.Autohex for BMW
1) Depends how many BMW you do. Autohex works great on them but its not cheap.
2) Autohex it’s a good tool to invest!
I don’t use it much but I know if something goes wrong autohex will save my assess?
3) If you have only locksmith version and you try to program petrol CAS3+ with Continental ECU by OBD you will be very surprised
5) E70 AKL is the same! Cannot be done even if they are saying “all e and f series”.
Also fem/bdc, 99% of them need update before unlock. Can be done from advanced functions but not always!
But worth having full!
Many BMW on the road and are not the best cars..
Good think about AH – it will notify you when clip is not connected. You won’t go any further without that. I use AH a lot and since 2 years now never fail on me so far.
Only bad but I can say is CAS4. You won’t do even spare key with OBD if you don’t have ISN.

Scorpio-Lk Tango – a must have key programmer
It is modular like AVDI or TMProII, with limited free functionality for each manufacturers. The whole BMW package is free, so you have to get it if you have to deal with Beemers. To be honest it has lots of weak points, but the documentation what is included makes it worth to pay for: pictures of the devices what you have to look for, sometimes with location and unmount pics; list of the transponders what you can use to the chosen task; the name of the chip what you have to deal with. Packages are from 50€, you get the activation code in e-mail very fast, but can depend on your dealer. So much from the good side, let’s see the weak points: It comes often, that you can’t open the .bin files for their name, just have to find out where the program accepts it. For example: Yaris as Corolla, Insignia as Camaro, Cordoba as Polo, Picanto as C’eed, aso. It gives some well-known problems: can’t do anything with the RB8 controllers, also. It is a bit uncommon, that it wants to be updated always, but who cares, it goes fast enough via smart phone too. However: you have to buy this to be able to do your work, so take a deep breath, and pay: 959 dollars for the basic sw + hw.

I have tried new Fly tango V1.111, it does not work. Before update it worked little bit. For example I could red Skoda 1998 iD33 key. But after update nothing works. Except for documentation, that works. I am using it on windows XP, no yellow flags. When I check Fly tango software says everything is ok, but last line says some errors. I think I have to buy original Tango.

A good alternative when you don’t want to pay for the AVDI modules.
It has VW (Audi, Seat, Skoda, Porsche, Bentley), Beemer and PSA support with key learning and so on. I don’t know how other peoples think, but AVDI is and was a good tool – but is damn expensive. The modules what this machine can do were cost more than 10.000.- euros. This alternative is good enough to do the allday work, and costs only $1600 from the official web page. From this year the ID48 cloning is free for all users, don’t imitate – innovate! There is only one thing with this toy what irritates me: you have a prompt in the program, that you have to update the software, but if you push on update button, nothing happens. To update the program you have to download & install the new sw as usual VVDI Prog, only the firmware update needs the official update manager.

SVCI V2020 Cons:
FVDI SVCI V2020 & SVCI V2019 have no special functions.
But it has the new regular software and contains all the old software as well.
The hardware is compatible with the older software SVCI V2018 or the version of FVDI2, the older software have special function, then if SVCI V2020 & SVCI V2019 run the old software, it will have special functions.
Expensive alternative of Tango. The original hardware is cheap – and that’s the only thing what’s easy to get. The tool has lots of modules (208 at the moment) and the cheapest ones costs €100, but gives lots of modules over 1000 euro. It gives some modules that are able to use such binaries what no ther tool can, but they are insanely expensive. If money doesn’t matters, then this is the best choice what you can make; otherwise depends only on your customers what is what you have to build up: Tango or TMPro. The main software without modules and hardware is free to use, but is only able to tell about a binary file when that’s good or not. The main hardware is between 89-150 euro. I think I won’t pay for this nearly €30.000.- to have the full version. (Maybe cheaper if you buy the whole package together…)
What is TMPro2?
Transponder Maker Pro (also known as TMPro keymaker or TMPro2 keymaker) is a programmer and softwares for transponder key making, transponder key programming, transponder key copying and PIN code/ security code calculating. Programmer has to be connected to USB port of computer, it does not require external power supply. Main software user interface supports 14 languages – Bulgarian, English, French, Portuguese, Polish, Hungarian, Spanish, Serbian, Italian, Czech, Chinese, Greek, Turkish and Romanian. Programmer and all softwares are auto-updateable to latest version available on server.
TMPro are organized as modular softwares. At beginning you can purchase TMPro programmer without any additional softwares and use it only with main software. In the future when job comes to your workshop you can very fast and easy add new softwares by simple software purchasing system.
TMPro2 works with immobilizers eeprom dumps. You must have electronic knowledges and to know how to use soldering-desoldering tools and memory devices programmers. It is your choice what programmer you will use for reading memory devices – TMPro2 memory device programmer or other programmer. In order to program transponder you have to remove immobox/BSI/UCH unit from car, open it, desolder memory device or solder wires on testpoints, and read it. Depending of vehicle memory device can be serial eeprom, Motorola MCU, Microchip PIC MCU, ST10F269 MCU, Texas Instruments MCU etc… Next step is to program transponder. Last step is to solder back memory device, reassemble immobox/BSI/UCH and fit back to car.

Input Xhorse Universal Smart Proximity to coil hole and press “Generate remote”
Wait for proceeding complete
Then connect Lonsdor K518 to vehicle and enter menu
Select “Immobilization”–>”Hyundai”–>”Select from vehicle”–>”General area”
Select “ix35(EL)”–>”Smart Key”
Select “Program smart key”
Click your vehicle start button,then click OK to continue
Switch ignition off
Then it will ask you to input 6bit PIN code to continue programming,after then click continue
Click [OK],and then use the smart key to be programmed to vertically press the start button,or within 5 second to use the top of the smart key to press and hold the start button for 5 second,the security light will flash
Program successful,do you want to program next one?
Click [OK] to do second key,just repeat procedures
